The key to lowering diabetes for older adults could be walking after every meal, according to a study.

Researchers have found that a 15 minute walk after every meal can improve blood sugar levels.

The study found that the strategy worked even better than one long 45 minute walk in the morning or evening.

Experts say older people should do this every day to get the benefits of controlling blood sugar.
