"Kim and Kanye have had a baby girl. She was born early Saturday morning, little earlier than expected, but Kanye was by Kim's side for it," said Raja Lewis, staff writer, People Magazine.
Reportedly five weeks early, Kardashian, 32, was looking forward to giving birth.
In the most recent tease for her hit reality show 'Keeping Up With the Kardhashians', Kim appeared to be suffering from appendicitis.
An episode earlier, she found out she was having a girl.
"I'm so excited we're having a girl," she said. "I know that's really what Kanye has always wanted. He wanted a little girl."
An "amazing" early Father's Day gift for Kanye, who announced the pregnancy last December on stage in Atlanta.
It was a busy week for the rapper, whose sixth album 'Yeezus' is set to release on Tuesday.
West recently expressed his thoughts on parenthood in a New York Times interview:
"One of the things was just to be protective, that I would do anything to protect my child or my child's mother -- as simple as that," he said.
ABC News reached out to representatives for Kim Kardashian and Kanye West for comment but had not heard back.
