Parents joined state, city and county lawmakers for a news conference today at Chicago City Hall.
The lawmakers say schools in their districts face cuts from $400,000 -- up to $2 million per school.
The lawmakers and parents are calling on all levels of government to work together to find a way to restore funding for schools.
