More than 100 firefighters needed to extinguish Inverness house fire

July 16, 2013 (INVERNESS, Ill.)

Two firefighters were rushed to the hospital after suffering heat exhaustion while battling a massive house fire.

The fire broke out just after 4 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon. It took more than 100 fire fighters more than two hours to put out the extra alarm blaze.

No word on a cause yet, but ABC7 is told there's more than $1 million dollars in damage to the home.
