About 40 students are taking part in a six-week summer program at the University of Illinois at Chicago. The program is called "A Chance for Change Summer Youth S.T.E.M. Camp."
The camp focuses on science, technology, engineering and math.
Several organizations help fund the camp or provide volunteer, including UIC, Chicago Housing Authority, Ameresco, and Project Syncere.
