DeVry University adds $30M science, technology facility

July 29, 2013 (CHICAGO)

Mayor Rahm Emanuel joined university leaders to dedicate the new facility.

Classes taught in the new building focus on advanced science and technology.

The mayor says this building will help open a lot of doors, careers and futures.

"Our ability to out educate any other city in the country, and out educate anybody else in the world, allows Chicago to be a world-class city, that competes on a world stage," said Mayor Rahm Emanuel.

This building will also house the DeVry University Advantage Academy.

That program allows Chicago Public School high school students the chance to earn college credit before graduation.
