UW officials unhappy with party school ranking

August 6, 2013 (MADISON, Wis.)

The Princeton Review announced the annual rankings on Tuesday. The University of Iowa grabbed the top spot.

Mark Woulf is a 2010 UW-Madison graduate who now serves as the city of Madison's food and alcohol policy coordinator.

He says, "It's always unfortunate to make the rankings in a negative way." He says students will never stop drinking on campus, but improvements can be made to better educate them to protect themselves and others.

Dr. Sarah Van Orman heads University Health Services on the UW-Madison campus. She says high-risk alcohol use remains a pressing public health problem.
