The complaint, filed with the Illinois Courts Commission, accuses Brim of conduct that was prejudicial to the administration of justice.
The Judicial Inquiry Board claims her actions have brought the judicial office into disrepute.
Last year, Brim was found not guilty by reason of insanity on battery charges.
She was charged with misdemeanor battery for shoving a deputy outside the Daley Center.
