Three men robbed the store Monday evening and led police on a chase into Chicago.
The suspects were not found that night.
Their getaway car was later discovered abandoned near 15th and Kolin.
The suspect has not yet been named or formally charged.
He is currently in the hospital for medical issues not related to the incident.
Police continue to search for the two other suspects.
