Man killed in hit-and-run fled Iraq

A man killed in a hit and run accident in Chicago fled Iraq to find peace and security here in Chicago.

Eighty-three-year-old Norman Esho settled in Chicago in 1994.

He was standing in a crosswalk when he was struck.

Today police released surveillance video of the vehicle believed to have been involved.

It's described as a red or maroon Chevy or GMC SUV with custom rims.

The incident happened Tuesday at Devon and California.
