Koch brothers won't buy Tribune Company, Chicago Tribune's parent company

Two of the richest men in the world have decided not to buy the Chicago Tribune and its other newspapers.

Billionaire brothers Charles and David Koch say the Tribune Company's eight newspapers, including the Los Angeles Times and the Chicago Tribune are not economically viable.

Critics and union members had voiced concern that a purchase of the newspapers would have provided what they call a prominent platform for the brother's right-wing message.
