A three-year-old boy was hit by a bat that got away from a Miami Marlins player at Wrigley Field on Wednesday.

The player was Giancarlo Stanton. The child's father was able to deflect the bat, but it still hit the boy in the chin.

He was checked out by first aid personnel and is fine.

The family enjoyed the rest of the game. Afterwards, the family was taken to the club house and met Cubs first baseball Anthony Rizzo.
