Carnival Cruise offering satisfaction guarantee

Carnival Cruise Line is trying to win back customers following two cruise ship mishaps at sea in the last year.

Carnival is calling it the "great vacation guarantee."

Under the new policy if a passenger is not satisfied with their cruise, carnival is offering a 110 percent refund.

That full refund plus 10 percent also comes with free transportation home and a $100 on-board credit.

Carnival Cruise passengers must notify the cruise line about their dissatisfaction within 24 hours of boarding a shop.

This follows mechanical issues on board the Carnival Dream and an engine fire on the Carnival Triumph that stranded thousands of passengers at sea in February.
