Stretha Van Alston has settled his case with the city, but he's calling for one of the officers involved to be fired or disciplined.
The City of North Chicago paid Van Alston $90,000.
He says one of the officers who attacked him was also involved in the arrest of Darrin Hanna, who died in 2011.
He was allegedly beaten and an autopsy found a stun gun had been used on him.
Thursday, Van Alston described how he was attacked.
"I fell on the ground to my knees and on my stomach," he said. "And then next thing I know it was two or three of them stomping me."
North Chicago police have not responded to a request for a comment on the matter.
