It's the first time in the arboretum's history that dogs, accompanied by their owners, have been allowed inside to explore the sights, sounds and serenity of the popular tree and plant sanctuary.
There were also canine demonstrations and pet adoption agencies on site. The cost was $5 per dog, with proceeds going to local animal shelters.
