Investigators say they hope video footage will reveal more information about the circumstances surrounding the death of a northeastern Indiana man in a wheelchair struck by a train at a railroad crossing

Forty-one-year-old Anthony Sills of Kendallville died when struck by a train Tuesday evening while crossing the city's Main Street railroad tracks in a battery-powered wheelchair.

The News-Sun reports a camera was mounted on the train's lead engine.

Witnesses told police the crossing gates were down, red signals were flashing and a bell was ringing indicating an approaching train when Sills attempted to cross the tracks.

Kendallville is about 25 miles northwest of Fort Wayne.
