Two men demanded the student give up a cell phone, wallet and book bag. A similar robbery took place on Sunday in the 1400-block of West Lexington.
In both cases, the suspects showed or implied they had a gun.
Police are reminding residents and students to stay calm. They say if you are approached by a robber, do not fight them and call 9-1-1 as soon as possible.
