In a recently released YouTube video, Laspisa's parents make a plea for him to come home, or for more help finding him. He disappeared in Castaic, Calif., August 30, two days after starting a semester at school. Laspisa hasn't been seen since he disappeared while traveling across California. He last spoke with his mother via phone early that morning during an unexpected trip to see his parents.
Friends lit candles on his behalf at Naperville's Frontier Sports Park Septemebr 30 to mark the one-month anniversary.
His vehicle was found burning in a rural area north of Los Angeles.
