Police attempted to arrest the man after a domestic disturbance in Island Lake when the suspect fled in a vehicle. Police spotted him at Route 12 and Miller Road, and then he crashed at Honey Lake and Beech Drive. The suspect then fled on foot but is now in police custody. He was captured at Route 59 and Miller Road.
The search in the North Barrington area has also prompted Barrington District 220 to lock down North Barrington Elementary School, though classes were not in session Friday.
