'Veterans Cash' game awards millions to vets; Illinois instant lottery game launched by Gov. Quinn

The next time you buy a lottery ticket you could give back to a military veteran too.

Governor Pat Quinn launched the newest "Veterans Cash" instant lottery ticket Monday.

It costs $2 to play and all proceeds benefit Illinois veterans' organizations.

Governor Quinn launched the program in 2006.

Since then, the Veterans Cash game has awarded more than $11 million in grants to more than 210 veterans' organizations statewide.
