Eighty-one percent of employees say they would work harder if their boss showed them appreciation. Only 38 percent would work harder if they had a demanding boss. And just 37 percent say they'd work harder if they felt their job was in jeopardy.
When asked about how they feel about working around the Thanksgiving holiday, 62 percent say they'd appreciate if they didn't have to work before, on or after Thanksgiving Day, but 49 percent say "show me the money," as they'd prefer a cash bonus. And 19 percent are hungry for turkey-- they'd appreciate a pre-Thanksgiving meal at work.
