Residents in Chicago's Woodlawn neighborhood were told to be alert after a teenage girl was sexually assaulted in broad daylight.The attack happened Tuesday in the 6200-block of South University Avenue around noon.
Police say a man approached the girl as she was walking down the street.
He then threatened her with a knife and sexually assaulted her.
Residents are being urged to be aware of their surroundings and to report any suspicious activity.
