The college says the theme of this year's Black History Month is celebrating the golden jubilee of the Civil Rights Act. Doctor Carol Adams of the Dusable Museum says current generations must not forget how hard African Americans fought for civil rights.
Monday's program also featured music and reflections from students and staff.
