Former Chicago police officers initially charged in a 2011 sexual assault case, Paul Clavijo and Juan Vasquez face two years of probation after pleading guilty to official misconduct in a deal with prosecutors.

February 16, 2014 (CHICAGO)

Paul Clavijo and Juan Vasquez, both 41, pleaded guilty to a single felony count of official misconduct involving battery as part of a Jan. 22 deal.

Both had been charged with criminal sexual assault and official misconduct after authorities alleged they attacked a 22-year-old woman while on duty in March 2011.

Neither former officer admitted to any sexual offenses in the deal. It was unclear when or why those charges were dropped.

Clavijo resigned in 2011. Vasquez resigned in 2012.
