2014 National Day of Unplugging urges people to sign offline

Could you give up your smartphone for two days? How about not checking Facebook or Twitter for 48 hours?

National Day of Unplugging, an online movement by the non-profit group Reboot, encourages people to take the pledge to not use electronics on Friday and Saturday.

There are events planned in several cities around the country including, two events in the Chicago area on Saturday.
