The race benefits the Cornerstone Foundation, which Tillman founded in honor of his daughter Tiana. She received a heart transplant when she was six months old. The Charles Tillman Cornerstone Foundation encourages organ donation and provides a resource to children and their families who are in need.
Tillman won the NFL's 2013 Prestigious Man of the Year Award presented in New York at the Super Bowl. He becomes a free agent on March 10, 2014.
