March is MS Awareness Month. You may have seen Chicago area buildings lit up orange for it.
MS affects more than 20,000 people in Illinois and several efforts are raising money for research and support. Restaurants are participating in "Dine to End MS," there's a "text to give" program and the Illinois Lottery has an "MS Project" scratch-off ticket.
Also, you can sign up for MS walks. They're happening on Sunday, May 4 at eight sites in the Chicago area.
