Chicago Blues Festival to kick off 2014 music festival season

Chicago's music festival season will get underway before we know it and first up is the 31st annual Chicago Blues Festival.

The theme this year is "Blues by the Lake".

The three-day festival kicks off June 13 in Grant Park at the Petrillo Music Shell.

The concerts open with the Carolina Chocolate Drops.

Headliners also include the Otis Taylor Band, Betty Lavette, Aaron Neville, Doctor John and more.

All the concerts are free.
