Smart car tipping spree in San Francisco leaves 4 tiny cars overturned

Smart car tipping is damaging vehicles in San Francisco. Four of the tiny cars were flipped over in the Bay Area.

One of them was Shelly Gallivan's. Her husband warned her that parking it in that spot might be a bad idea because it could get hit. It did- but by vandals.

Tipping Smart cars leaves the vehicles badly damaged and the undercarriage exposed.

"I think it's a bunch of teenagers," Gallivan said. "I just couldn't believe it, kinda funny."

Police are investigating, and believe all the Smart car tipping may be by the same group.
