People in one west suburb took advance of Saturday's nice weather to give back to the community.Around 350 volunteers went door to door in Hinsdale collecting canned food and supplies for the needy.
It was all part of the Saint Isaac Jogues Church "Seed of Service" food drive.
All the donations were brought to Burlington Park where volunteers sorted them.
The donated items will be distributed between four Chicago area charities.
