4 injured in River North shooting

Chicago police originally said at the scene that one of the victims had died, but police corrected the statement and said all of the victims are alive.

A group of men were in the 500 block of West Erie around 3 a.m. when a dark-colored sedan pulled up, flashed gang signs and opened fire, according to police.

Police said a 20-year-old man was shot in the head. He is hospitalized and listed in critical condition.

Police said a 21-year-old man was shot in the arm, a 20-year-old man was shot in the right foot and a 19-year-old man was shot in the left shoulder. All three were transported to local hospitals in stable condition, according to police.

Police said all four victims were known gang members. No one is in custody.
