CHICAGO (WLS) -- A man armed with a long-barreled firearm robbed two people on Saturday on the city's Northwest Side, police said.
The man is accused of approaching two individuals within a roughly four-hour span in the 3000-block of North Sawyer Avenue and the 2600-block of North Elston Avenue, Chicago police said.
In one incident, the offender took the victim's vehicle.
The suspect was seen wearing a maroon/burgundy cardigan sweater over a brown polo shirt and grey sweatpants.
Earlier, police had warned that the individual was carrying an assault rifle-type gun, but have since clarified the description of the firearm.
