Emily Giffin is a Chicagoan who decided to forego her degree in law to follow her dream of becoming a writer. Since then, the Naperville North High School graduate has written seven international best sellers, including the New York Times best-seller, "Something Borrowed."
"Something Borrowed" was a major hit and has since been adapted into a feature film. Its sequel, "Something Blue" has also been optioned for film. Emily talked about how hard it was to follow her passion of writing, what it was like seeing her novel turned into a movie and her newest book, "First Comes Love."
