Chicago Travel and Adventure Show comes to Rosemont
The 11th Chicago Travel and Adventure Show is being held this weekend at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont.

ROSEMONT, Ill. (WLS) -- Dreaming of a trip to warmer places? Need inspiration and tips? The 11th Chicago Travel and Adventure Show, held at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosement on Saturday and Sunday, offers all of that and more.

Among the featured speakers are the Travel Channel's Samantha Brown; Cheryl Strayed, New York Times best-selling author or "Wild: From Lost to Found on the Pacific Crest Trail," which was turned into the award-nominated movie featuring Reese Witherspoon; Patricia Schultz, best-selling author of "1,000 Places to See Before You Die"; and Pauline Frommer, editorial director of the Frommer's Guides and publisher of Frommers.com.

Frommer shares her travel tips for 2015. She suggests 2015 is a good year for international travel because of a strong dollar. Unfortunately for travelers, she does not expect air travel to become more affordable despite cheaper gas prices. Among the destinations Frommer recommends this year are

Yellowstone National Park and Belize.
