Spotty showers at 4 p.m. will become steadier rain showers starting at 10 p.m. and lasting overnight. Precipitation forecasts show about an inch of rain falling over the whole Chicago area.
Gusty winds will accompany the steady rain and cloudy skies. Skies will remain overcast and we will continue to see periods of steady rain at least through Wednesday afternoon. When the sun returns Thursday, temperatures will be much colder.
