CHICAGO -- CTA passengers who take Red, Green and Blue line trains should expect delays and closures due to weekend construction projects.
On the Green Line, service is suspended between Roosevelt and the 35th-Bronzeville stations.
On the Blue Line, crews are working on the tracks between Western and Logan Square as part of the multi-million dollar upgrade to the improve travel times on the O'Hare Branch.
The CTA is providing a free shuttle bus between the closed Green and Blue line stops.
On the Red Line, the Harrison Station is closed until 4 a.m. Monday while crews work on a $10 million upgrade project. The final phase of the project, which begins on Monday, June 16, 2014, will require a 42-day closure of the main entrances.
