Funeral for 17-year-old Urban Prep student held Saturday

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Mayor Rahm Emanuel joined family and friends at a visitation service for 17-year-old Deonte Hoard Friday night.

The Urban Prep Academy student was shot and killed on March 2 while walking with a friend near 106th and Ogelsby.

Police are still searching for the gunman.

The funeral is Saturday at 10 a.m. at Saint Andrews Temple on West Marquette Road.
