CHICAGO (WLS) -- A United Airlines spokesperson says out of an abundance of caution a flight headed to Seattle was diverted to Chicago's O'Hare International Airport after a non-credible threat was received.
The plane landed safely at O'Hare and United is working to get the passengers on board to their destination.
Chicago police and the FBI are investigating the threat.
"The FBI is working with an airline regarding a communication received earlier this evening. The effort is ongoing and we have no further information at this time," said Special Agent John Althen.
