Ireland president celebrates Irish culture in Chicago

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A celebration of the Irish culture was held Sunday in the Mayfair neighborhood.

Bag pipes played as President of Ireland, Michael Higgins, and First Lady Sabrina arrived at the Irish American Heritage Center Sunday afternoon.

President Higgins was there to dedicate a brick that will be placed in the walk of names plaza.

He wraps up his five-day trip to Chicago this week.
