LAKE FOREST, Ill. (WLS) -- The U.S. Coast Guard released dramatic video Monday of a weekend rescue on Lake Michigan.
A boat capsized and flipped over about 11 miles offshore from north suburban Lake Forest on Saturday.
Three men were rescued.
A Coast Guard crew from Wilmette Harbor Station was conducting a training session in that area and were able to get to the scene quickly.
One by one the three men were pulled to safety with a rescue line and life ring, and are doing fine.
The men used good boating safety practices, officials said. They wore life jackets and stayed with their overturned boat.
