Police officer hit with bottle near Montrose Beach

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A Chicago Police officer is sent to the hospital after getting hit with a bottle during an altercation in the 4400 block of Simonds near Montrose Beach.

Investigators say the officer was treated and released.

One person was arrested.
