National Brush Day marks importance of good tooth health
The trick-or-treating is over, and after downing the candy haul, it's time to treat your teeth.

CHICAGO (WLS) -- The trick-or-treating is over, and after downing the candy haul, it's time to treat your teeth.

Nov. 1 is National Brush Day. The event is held the day after Halloween to mark the importance of good tooth-brushing habits. Few people are aware that tooth decay is the number one chronic disease among children.

Dr. Sam Weisz with Libertyville Dental Associates visited ABC 7 to show tips on getting children to brush their teeth that will lead to a lifetime of smiles.
