Celebrating National Chocolate Day with Chef Alain Roby
CHICAGO -- It's National Chocolate Day, so we brought in world-renowned chocolate expert Chef Alain Roby. He is the owner and artist of All Chocolate Kitchen in Geneva, Ill.
Chef Roby has created life-size and larger-than-life chocolate sculptures, which have won him three Guinness World Records: "World's Tallest Cooked Sugar Building", "World's Tallest Chocolate Sculpture" and "World's Longest Candy Cane."
What's Chef Roby's next big feat? He created the World's Tallest Chocolate Rig in honor of the upcoming opening of his new restaurant "Primo!" The restaurant opens next to the All Chocolate Kitchen in November.
He has been creating works of chocolate art for 35 years. In studio on Wednesday, he painted a portrait of Ryan, Val and Ji in food coloring and cocoa paste with a pulled sugar frame and he completed it by the end of the hour!
