SALT LAKE CITY -- Two Air France flights from the U.S. bound for Paris have been diverted after anonymous threats were phoned in, the airline tells ABC News.
Federal officials tell the Associated Press an Air France flight bound for Paris from Los Angeles was diverted to Salt Lake City because of security concerns.
Federal Aviation Administration spokesman Allen Kenitzer says the Air France Flight 65, an Airbus A-380, landed safely in Salt Lake City on Tuesday night and the passengers were getting off and being bused to a terminal.
The second flight reportedly originated from Washington, D.C.
Kenitzer says he could offer no further details on the security issue.
