Little Village truck crash causes power outage

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A crash involving two Chicago garbage trucks knocked out power to about 1,600 customers on the Southwest Side.

The crash happened Wednesday morning at 31st Street and Drake Avenue. A 12,000 volt power line was hit.

There were no serious injuries but one truck driver was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital.
