ELMHURST, Ill. (WLS) -- A suburban lawyer is facing child pornography charges after prosecutors said they found a "nauseating" amount of images at his Elmhurst office.

Ralph Tellefsen, 62, appeared in bond court Monday morning, where he was charged with seven counts of possession of child pornography, a class 2 felony.

According to the DuPage County State's Attorney, an employee at Tellefsen's law firm called police on August 27, 2017, to report that she had found child pornography on a printer at the office. When officers arrived, they said they found a banker's box containing thousands of images of child pornography.

"The sheer number of child pornography images allegedly possessed by Mr. Tellefsen is nauseating," DuPage County State's Attorney Robert Berlin said in a statement. "Each one of these disgusting photographs represents yet another innocent victim of child pornography.

Tellefsen was present when officers arrived at his office and was taken into custoday at that time. A judge set his bond at $75,000 Monday.

Tellefsen's next court appearance is scheduled for September 18. Additional conditions for Tellefsen should he be able to post bond include no contact with children under 18 years of age and no computer or Internet access.
