PINE BEACH, New Jersey -- Here's something to add to your list of outdoor activities in New Jersey: yachting along the shore.
Riverside Yachting, a New Jersey-based sailing company, is offering a luxurious sailing experience aboard the Brookgreen, a classic ship.
"We do charters up and down the Toms River here at the Jersey Shore. This is our first year in business and the business has actually been pretty good," said Brandon Weiss, owner and captain of Riverside Yachting.
The company, founded during the pandemic, can accommodate groups of up to six people.

Riverside Yachting can host an array of activities, including birthday parties, proposals, even bridal bashes. The tours include complimentary drinks and a charcuterie board.
"We do all the sailing ourselves so that people can relax on the boat. We modeled it after what we would like if we're going sailing, so people can enjoy the beanbags, have a drink, and relax," said Weiss.
Weiss, who is a Jersey Shore native, holds a U.S. Coast Guard captain's license. He is joined by first mate Steely Hays, who's also worked on the water the majority of her life.
Riverside Yachting offers morning, daytime, and sunset tours, which last 2 1/2 hours and run up and down the river.
Whether you choose their morning tour while sipping on mimosas or go later in the day to admire the picturesque sunset, the Riverside Yachting team says it's ready to offer a memorable and stylish sailing experience.
