Robert De Niro to open Nobu Hotel in Chicago

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A new hotel is coming to Chicago's West Loop and it has some star power behind it.

"I'm very, very happy with the whole project and I look forward to coming back to Chicago to stay in the hotel from time to time," actor Robert De Niro said.

De Niro was on-hand for the groundbreaking of the new Nobu Hotel.

De Niro is a partner in the Nobu Hospitality Group.

The hotel is expected to open late next year, with 104 rooms and a Nobu restaurant.
