NAPERVILLE, Ill. (WLS) -- An Olympic swimmer and hometown hero was honored Tuesday night.
Kevin Cordes, a Naperville native, was on the U.S. Men's Swim Team and competed in the 2016 Rio Olympics. He was part of the gold medal-winning men's 4x100 meter relay team.
Naperville mayor Steve Chirico honored Cordes with a statue.
