Veteran's Day hiring fair comes to Union Station
The Fifth Third Bank/CareerBuilder Veterans Day Hiring Fair is looking to connect veterans with resources they need to get jobs.

CHICAGO (WLS) -- There are as many as 50,000 unemployed veterans in Illinois and Indiana. This Veterans Day, a hiring event is looking to connect veterans with the resources they need to get jobs as they transition back into civilian life. The Fifth Third Bank/CareerBuilder Veterans Day Hiring Fair takes place at Union Station in Chicago.

U.S. Army Sgt. Michael A. Garcia, Sr., and veteran Steve Watts, Fifth Third Bank spokesperson, came into our ABC 7 Eyewitness News studio to tell us about the event and share hiring fair tips for veterans.
